Kela has published two new brochures in English, Moving to Finland and Moving from Finland.
The brochures tell on a general level what is required to gain social security coverage when moving to Finland or, vice versa, how moving abroad affects your social security coverage in Finland.
The brochures can be downloaded at Kela's website or they can be picked up at most Kela offices. Both brochures are also available in Finnish and Swedish and Moving to Finland brochure also in Russian.
